There is a great post here talking about heroes who are heroes because they remember being the villain.
AND IT'S AWESOME.
It's written in reference to Alison Argent but what it really reminds me of (at the moment) is M'gann.
Because I think that this is where M'gann's arc is going. She's on a dark path and doesn't even realize it. And I have a bit of speculation about what is going to wake her up (because if having the love of her young life leave her didn't, it's going to take something brutal to do it) - I think she's going to hurt Artemis. I think that there is going to be a battle and M'gann is going to rip into Artemis' mind before she recognizes that she's fighting her earth-sister. And I think that's going to be the trigger for M'gann to realize what she's become.
And then she's going to have to live with that. She's going to have to keeping living with that. She's going to have move on from that.
