Day 5: The ship where your favourite scene is the most dysfunctional one.

Regina Mills/Sheriff Graham

I've mentioned before how much I love the 'using sex to drown out emotional noise' trope which means that I love the scene where, after Emma tells Graham that she doesn't want to be a part of whatever weird thing he has going on with the mayor, Graham goes to Regina to "feel something." And then Regina gives that camera that fantastic 'I'm evil and about to be well-fucked' look.

Also, honorable mention:

In the second to last Harry Potter movie, there is a scene where, post-fight, Ron goes over to Hermione, turns her head slightly to check out the cut on her cheek, and then gives her a look that clearly says, 'your call what we do about these death eaters; I vote for something lethal.' It's a classic knight-to-queen moment and I love it.

Day 6: The ship where the rest of its fandom is DOING IT WRONG.

Here are some ships that fandom has decided are boring:

Max/Logan (Dark Angel)
Mal/Inara (Firefly)
Tony/Pepper (judging by the fic offerings)
Richard/Kahlan

Well, you know what fandom? You are JUST WRONG. Just stand there in your wrongness and be wrong.

Also, Bourne fandom? Just because Jeremy Renner has played a character in The Avengers, Mission Impossible, and The Bourne Legacy, does not mean that they are all the same character, that the characters are brothers, etc, etc. Seriously, looking at the tags in the entries for The Bourne Legacy fandom on AO3 makes want to cry. I just want fic about an attractive, genetically altered government operative banging the hot, morally-compromised scientist who genetically altered him. Is that too much to ask?

Day 7: The ship where the writers are DOING IT WRONG.

Fiona/Michael, Burn Notice.

In theory, burned spy + trigger-happy gun-running former flame is a set-up for a DYNAMITE pairing. And to be frank, there are moments where it lives up to that premise. Just not a lot. The writers admit that they didn't quite know what to do with Fi in the first season, but to be honest, they never really figured out what to do with her. She never seems to have her own life the way that Sam (Mike's BFF) does and too much of the time, Fi is push, push, pushing Michael into a relationship while he acts aloof, making Fi look like an obsessed ex who needs to get "he's just not that into you" tattooed across her brain.

Day 8: The ship you want to break up so you can stan the hell out of them.

April/Andy, Parks & Rec

This is kind of cheating because I would never say I shipped this two. I have always hated Andy and while his and April's courtship was well-done, my most charitable feeling towards them was "well, I love April. *sigh* Since she clearly wants Andy, I guess I'm happy for her."

So I watch them sometimes being cute together but mostly I just want April to be with someone who is not a fucking moron. And then in Park's finale, during the scene where April is like, "Andy, go be a policeman," this surge of rage swept over me.

I'm not even kidding. SURGE OF RAGE. I don't even know why. And then I almost threw up when Andy sent April his dirty laundry to deal with while she's in DC.

Basically, I want April to break up with Andy so he can stop tainting her awesome.

Finally, I want to mention that I'm still doing this trope meme, just fyi.
