I have no idea who the non-Saiyuki character here is, but anyone who could conceivably free Gat from that bitch Hazel and potentially leave him alive...undead...whatever...in the process sounds like a spiffy person in my book! :)

Sabriel is absolutely positively made of win, and I would strongly rec the novel (same as the main character's name) because it is fabulous.
