International Galentine's Day

• Friday was International Women's Day. I wish I had realized that in time to do a lady-centric fanfic meme or something. There's always next year!

• I really want to write a fanfic with the summary: "The Howling Commandos and the Banshees walk into a bar. Things get loud."


• I am current with Parks & Rec. You know, if there is one show that always does ladies and feminism right... Like, the episode with Leslie and April and the garbage? I delayed watching that episode for weeks because I saw a gifset of Leslie not being about to move the fridge on tumblr and I was assuming that the moral of that episode was going to be 'Leslie is too big for her britches.' I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. Leslie and Ben's wedding was perfect, and I came away from that with SO MANY feelings from Ron and Leslie's interactions. Seriously, my throat was tight. The most recent episode wasn't quite as good, but goddamn how much do I love the 'geek girls get laid' ending?

Parks and Rec is THE BEST. I loooove the garbage truck episode. April and Leslie doing stuff together is always awesome. I loved Ben all "actually Leslie I want you to take my last name it's really important to me..." So perfect, especially the look on her face. :D

Captain Marvel is the comic Leslie Knope is reading, I can tell you that right now.

I loooove the garbage truck episode. April and Leslie doing stuff together is always awesome. I loved Ben all "actually Leslie I want you to take my last name it's really important to me..." So perfect, especially the look on her face. :D
