A Hotline A Wanted Ad | It's Crazy What You Couldn't Had

[livejournal.com profile] phemyscira asked me about my top five movies, which I could have sworn I’d posted about before, but apparently not, as I can’t find the post. (They're in alphabetical order to make it easier of me.)

So, top five movies:

  • Anastasia

  • The Avengers

  • Easy A

  • Push

  • The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Swedish version)

I vaguely remember you posting something about favourite movies, which I remember because, Anastasia squee. I rewatched the movie on television a couple of weeks ago and I was glowing with nostalgia. How awesome was the climax scene?

I need to watch Push and maybe someday gather the courage to watch the Millenium movies.

Yeah, I've had a couple of posts that I am 100% positive were randomly deleted. That was one of them.

And honestly, I wouldn't recommend ALL of the Millenium movies; just the first, swedish one.

LJ has been deleting your posts?

Any particular reason why you wouldn't recommend the other Millenium movies?

I found the second really boring, and never watched the third.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!!!!!!!!! Swedish version!!!!!! I love that whole trilogy. Large sections of it feel like an ode to research, which pleases me. And the violence is so matter of fact and LISBETH SALANDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Noomi Rapace's face!!!)

Personally, I wasn't as impressed with the rest of the trilogy the way I was with the first movie (my feelings about books vs movies vs adaptations are weird and unpopular) but GODDAMN do I fucking love Noomi Rapace's Lisbeth Salander and the delicious (as in, fucked up) ways she interacts with people.
