Ask me a fandom-related question in the comments. Ask me two, three, four, five questions, go nuts, tbh. I'll talk about fandom stuff, character stuff, ship stuff, give recs, talk about fic writing, livejournal, tumblr, memes, icons, music, movies, books, kinks, whatever. Questions can be as wacky as you want. Whatever you want. Dream big, dream strange.

The LBD cast (in character) as superheroes - or villains.
How would that work? Who would be the leader? What powers would they have? Names?
Would they be open about their alter egos or have a secret identity?

Meanwhile, Wick-the-Dick shows up and insinuates himself into the girls' everyday lives. Lizzie and Jane are too busy to waste their time on sleazy guys (especially with the promise of clandestine rooftop rendezvous in Lizzie's future), leaving GW disgruntled and pouty that no one is paying him the attention he feels he deserves, so he goes after Lydia in retaliation, thinking she'll be an easy conquest.
However, Lydia may seem like a flake, but she's stronger than anyone gives her credit for. She's always been the baby of the team and while she has her own ability, she's never quite figured out how to use it effectively, so she's struggling to reach her potential and resents her sisters a little because of that. GW comes along and is surprised to find that she's more of a challenge than he bargained for, so he slowly uses his powers to subvert her to his will. At home, everyone is so busy with their own lives that no one seems to notice the changes in her, until she goes missing.
After that there's a whole scramble to find her, with the assistance of the newly unmasked Darcy, and when they do catch up to them, Lydia appears to be completely under GW's control. Lizzie and Jane turn the tables on him by using their sisterly bond to remind Lydia how much they value her and empathically override the coercion, at which point Lydia kills the dastardly Wickham, reclaiming her own power. Sisterhood is reaffirmed, Lydia and Jane leave, and Lizzie and Darcy finally come clean about everything and engage in naughty things on the rooftop.
The End

I love it. Also, I feel like the updated version of the 1st proposal scene in this would be something like, Darcy figures out that that Lizzie is Lizzie, while she still hasn’t made the link between Darcy and his superhero cover, so Darcy basically asks a leading question that leads to Lizzie running down the list of Darcy’s faults, and they start fighting, and Darcy breaks his cover, and they leave that conversation with their respective world-views shaken.
Lizzie and Darcy finally come clean about everything and engage in naughty things on the rooftop.
I am always down for this.

Perhaps castration would suffice as an alternative option. Or, would falling off the rooftop (maybe with a little help) and ending up paralysed be too cliché?
Also, in the lead up to the climax, it could follow the original story, where Lizzie tells Darcy that Wickham has Lydia, and when he leaves she thinks that he's walked out of her life forever, but he really uses his knowledge of GW's sordid habits to locate Lydia, who refuses to leave with him, at which point he would go to Lizzie and Jane.
But, an interesting twist could be that due to his stuffy and formal way of speech, when Darcy finds Lydia his secret identity is revealed, making her the only person ever to see through his disguise.
