Love Is Like A Sin

I finally finished season/series one of Luther.

When they said Catwoman/Batman dynamic, baby, they weren't kidding.

I had not heard of this Catwoman/Batman dynamic, that makes me want to watch it!

Yep, the actress and people in fandom have both mentioned it.

I saw the first ep and kept side eyeing Luther constantly visiting/harassing the sociopath chick. So it gets better? I do love Idris Elba. Would love to see him as the next Bond or as Batman someday.

Well, I'm constantly side-eyeing Luther for various reasons, which I think you're supposed to, but I never read him as harassing Alice... she seemed to honestly scare him, and fucked with him twice as hard as he did her. So I may be the wrong person to answer that question.

Like a more intense version of Catwoman/Batman even, since Alice is way more prone to killing than Catwoman is. And John is super intense (my favourite man mess). And they initially set out to DESTROY EACH OTHER, like not just lives, but to shatter the other's worldview and ugh. UGH I SHIP IT SO MUCH

Other cop/criminal ships try tbh

Very true. And I'm continually impressed with how honestly fucked up and intense John Luther is, and how the show doesn't romantize him excessively.
