HOW AMAZING WAS THAT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE?

"That dress makes you look like a mermaid." I just about died when Jake and Amy were dancing "for real." EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING. JAKE GOING UNDERCOVER. THAT FUCKING LOVE CONFESSION, SO GOOD, SO IN CHARACTER, AMY'S AMAZED FACE WAS PRICELESS. BOYD DIDN'T GET IN ROSA'S PANTS, FUCK YES.

I was afraid that they were gonna push Amy/Jake too far with the whole setup but they did it JUST RIGHT. This fuckin show, man *hearts in my eyes*

When Boyd woke up in a woman's bedroom at the end I was horrified AND THEN I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING ... now I think I can trust in the show a bit more when it comes to them truly course-correcting with Rosa and Boyd, hahahahahahahaha.

I'm not as sure as you are that we've seen the last of Rosa/Boyd, but I hope you are right! And I think we have the potential for comedy gold with Boyd and Gina.

I really was worried about Charles and Rosa but I was so glad that they didn't go that route. I wonder if that was a last minute change - there has been a LOT of commentary on how gross Charles' fixation with Rosa is, and there were still hints up to this episode even that that hadn't been dropped. Changing the closing scene would have been easy too.

The storyline with Jake and Amy was just amazing though! I loved every bit of it.

I kind of hope so, because it would mean that Charles/Rosa would likely be permanently dropped next season, but with Rosa's line about Charles being a good man and who she doesn't date good guys.... I dunno, that make me really worried.

SAME. But I was more worried before the last scene than I am now (though I am definitely still worried). That's what I mean by a last minute fix. But I remain vigilant and angry, wearing my best leather jacket.

...Only the bits with Amy and Jake/Amy+Jake+Holt? Because I really do not want to deal with the Rosa-Gina-Boyle stuff again. SHE SAID NO, EVERYONE.

Right there with you. I'm imagining us looking like a pair of 1950's greasers, ready to give a talking-to to the writers if they don't realize that Rosa said no, Boyle needs to hear no and drop it, and the writers need to never ever do anything romantic with them ever.
