I don't know how many of you know this, but I'm selling my car. I've found a person and I should sign over the title over Winter Break (aka 2 1/2 weeks). Because of this, we didn't put snow tires on, and now there's snow in Bellingham, and snow warnings all along the I-5 corridor, so I'm going to be driving my mom's subaru back to college (no where near as fun to drive as my little Toyota).
Damnit, I wanted those last two weeks before I said goodbye!
This is the first time I've ever been annoyed about there being snow.
Plus, right now I'm kind of flipping out a little re: finals. I've got a test in a week, three essays due a week after that, and then another test the next day. *takes deep breaths*
So, in the interests of keeping my sanity, if you're so inclined, feel free to spam me with happy things- fav fics, fun vids, or just good wishes.
ETA: And in the interests of not just being a whiny, whiny stressed-out college student, there's a fun Thanksgiving picture behind the cut.

Ah! Your car! I've never really understood why I get attached to cars, but it's so true. I'm glad that you found someone to buy it from you, but your little toyota will be missed! Are you going to buy a different car, or just use the subaru?
ALSO. There is snow, what? I really need to buy boots now crap.
Consider this me sending you best wishes for now, and I'll bring you something tomorrow. And we shall watch Death Note! (finally). I hope your week doesn't look too busy. See you soon, and lots of love.

I'm so attached to my car it's not even funny. This was my first car and we expected it to remain in better condition for few more years than it did, but it's still a great car- it's zippy and gets good gas milage and drives like a sports car and I love it so. Unfortunately, soon things are going to start breaking that won't be cost-effective to repair, so now is the time to sell it and actually get some money for it. Selling it is the right thing to do, especially since I have a feeling the girl I'm selling it to needs it and would have a very hard time finding a car as good as Sage (my toyota) for the price I'm selling at. Selling is the right thing to do, but it still kind of sucks.
Yes, I will be buying another car, but I don't know when that will happen, so I'll either be driving my mom's subaru or her vw bug (which is really fun to drive, as well, so I won’t be completly lacking in automotive amusment).
I have a feeling there's a little bit of snow in bellingham. At the least, the forecast calls for snow Sunday, and when I checked road conditions the photo looked like there was a dusting of snow today, so we'll see.
In good news, and speaking of boots, I just bought new hiking boots yesterday. They say their waterproof which I'm really happy about because my old boots had a crack or something and I'd end up with toes sloshing about all day. So that's good.
I hope your week doesn't look too busy. At this I laugh and laugh and laugh. The next two weeks are looking kind of insane right now. But I will have time to watch Death Note, which will be really fun.
