redbrunja: (The Truth Is Cruel But Fair (Izumi))

Okay, even as I type, I'm aware of how horrible, whiny and grabby this sounds, but damn it, I'm going to say it anyway.

Just so I'm sure I understand, 'hits' are signs that someone clicked onto my story, and presumably, either read it or went 'ew' and hit the back button, correct?

Well, then, can you explain why, for a story that has almost three hundred hits, I got two reviews?

For another one, (2 reviews total) 3 people put my story on their favorites list, two of whom didn't bother to let me know that they read the damn thing. People, it would be one thing if I had had reviews that were, say, in the double digits. Then I could understand just favoriting and moving on, but really, when the combined total of my reviews for my one-shots on ff.net barely equal 10? *speechless, at the stats, and my own entitlement*

Don't you (the you who isn't reviewing, not you, my flist) understand that the more you review, the more I'll write the things you like? I'm working on a fic for one of my reviewers right now, solely because she read one of my fics and said, I'd like to see more of this. (Well, and it also it set the plot bunnies hopping.)

I know fanfiction is just for fun, and yes, my main motivation is writing it for my own pleasure, but really people. It's more fun if you play too.
