Dear The Illusionist,

You're an awesome movie and I want to watch you again.

Incredible magic tricks, a great character arc that shows nice, in-character growth, and a villain who gets his just deserts.

Also, thank you for having an perfect-for-the-film, happy ending. I appreciate it.

Warmly,
me

Dear External Hard Drive and the company I got you from,

I'd like to have space on my computer again. After sending you back once I'm going to either have to fix the permissions or send you back again, and frankly, considering that this is the second time you haven't worked, I'm really considering that latter. I have no faith in you now, and since you're going to be holding media that I love unto death, that's no good.

No Love,
The person who once believed you were a good deal, even though she was shelling out $125.

Dear Kami-sama arc in Saiyuki,

You are made of win. Seriously. Goyjo angsting and being hot, more details about his and his brother's atrocious home life, Hakkai being passive-aggressive, Goku actually gaining my respect... I could go on forever.

Also, cast of Saiyuki? You all look really freakin' hot bloody. You're almost at Dean Winchester levels of blood + pretty = *breathes deep*

Lots of Love,
[personal profile] redbrunja

p.s. Also, someone needs to do a Dokugakugi vid to "Hate This & I'll Love You."  I swear, it's the perfect fucked-up family song.

Gacked from [info]fannish5:

What five nitpicky things do you wish writers in your fandom(s) would get right? (From Saiyuki, because we all know how pointless nitpicking that is.)

I don't normally tag people, but I'd love to know what [info]hireadd, [info]mzminola[Bad username or unknown identity: ]and [profile] theladyfeylene think of this meme. (But you don't have to if you don't want. Consider this a friendly nudge, not an unfriendly obligation.)
