A Miscellany Of Avengers-Related Things

Remember that pairing/gif meme that I did last week? I have to admit, you guys were way nicer than I expected and asked me about pairings that I liked. I had totally prepared to be asked about pairings I disliked and had even uploaded a selection of 'bitch, who you kiddin' gifs.



I was saving that for when someone asked me about Steve/Tony. I intellectually understand why that pairing is so popular (and I think the writers of the comics agree).

However, I have recently realized that Tony/Pepper is one of those couples where I take a level in OTP-ness. By which I mean, I cannot ship EITHER of them with anyone else. I know I've talked before about being curious about Pepper/Steve - I've tried and failed to write it, I've read well-written fics that made me go 'meh' and I figured out it's because I just cannot handle those two crazy, babbling, bantering adults with anyone but each other.

Also, have another bonus unpopular Avengers opinion: I do not think any one of the Avengers (sans Darcy and maybe Bruce would either read and/or enjoy the Game of Thrones books. And I think personally Darcy would just read the wiki pages regarding ASOIAF and watch the show).

Also, in Sif/Loki news, the top right photo in this set makes me imagine that off screen Loki is about to be thrown down at Sif's feet in chains. NO IDEA WHY.
