I don’t know how many of you know this, but I have this embarrassing habit.
When I’m really excited about something because it’s hilarious, or hurts-so- good, or my-god-that’s-wonderful-storytelling, but mostly at the delicious angst and oh-so-pitch-perfect humor, I squeal.
Yes, I actually squee. Literally, I have this little laugh-squeal thing that everyone who has ever heard me make it has cracked up at and/or given me weird looks.
Well, I just finished Saiyuki Reload 7. I read it in the parking lot of Barnes & Noble in twenty minutes, and at every three minute interval, I was squealing out loud.
I kid you not.
At one point I’m pretty sure that someone walking by my open car window heard me and started cracking up. Either that, or someone in her group had just said something hilarious.
Spoiler-iffic review to follow.
(And in case you were wondering, Reload 7 was good. Damn good.)

Terms Commenly Used In Acedemia is also awesome, though for different reasons. Especially "this is the prettiest graph".

I love the acedemia one to, and I'm so glad I found it again. I came across it once and then I forgot to save it, so I totally gacked it once I had found it again.

Until you're around and I can steal them all at once*"The other results didn't make any sense."

"The other results didn't make any sense."
Actually, that icon is so, so apropos for my into to language class, which is slowly driving me insane. Tonight I need to make flashcards and memorize the pronouncation symbols in the phonetic alphabet. *shudders* And they're explaining how works are formed, and it's so diffrent from how I've experience it- new works happen when shakespear makes them up! Surely I'm not the only one who knows this!

Oh dear. It's also hurting your spelling, unless you really do mean new "works".
Well, 'chortle' came from Jabberwhocky, and 'quiz', I heard, was a dare.

See if I buy you manga. You can just have no idea what happened with Goku and the river youakai and evil experiments on Kougaiji! Or wait three weeks for interlibrary loan to work! *huffs*
Actually that bad thing it that replacing 'works' for 'words' is something I did before I took the class of evil and woe. Just my classic dyslexia coming out to play. But no, feel free to look at my typos, and point and mock like a mocky thing.

I've done some really fun typos. I can't remember any of them right now, but I blame that on the tequilas the typos bought me.

And I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person who's typos buy her tequila, get her doin' shots, and then sit back to watch me fumble at the keyboard.

At least the typos buy- I don't know how many times the plotbunnies've stiffed me.

(Nice icon, by the way.)

I squeal... And I talk to myself. As I did again today while in the breakroom on my lunch, rereading Reload 7 (and discovered the eye thing I mentioned in some other post)...of course, with one of my managers in the room. He kinda looked at me funny, but didn't say anything.

Where do you work, by the way?

I'm the artist for the Trader Joe's in Eugene. Not as much fun as it used to be when I still lived in Southern California (worked at a much better store) but it pays too well to leave right now. :D

I thought Trader Joe's was a grocery store - why do they have an artist? And I'm sorry that it's less interesting than it used to be.

Trader Joe's employs artists for End Cap displays - as an attempt to give the company a "neighborhood store" feel.
This is what I used to be able to do... (http://pics.livejournal.com/pzb/pic/0000fefc/g3)
This is what I have to do now...so very little art (and even that one now is too much...
Though I've managed (http://pics.livejournal.com/pzb/pic/0008892f/g3) to get away with a few things... XD (http://pics.livejournal.com/pzb/pic/0008d4hg/g3)

I really liked the asian woman, and when I got to the Saiyuki boys drinking beer, I squealed so loudly that my friend who was in the room (and I recently sucked into Saiyuki) came over and she cracked up as well.
