First, just gotta say that I love all of your PotC, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Harry Potter (Hermione is a fabulous little black dress, isn't she?), Bleach (I love Ulquiorra(tear-marks guy)/Orihime far more than is healthy), QC and Firefly ships, and totally agree with your ships everyone else likes. I really don't like Mal being shipped with anyone but Inara, though, because I've always seen Mal as everyone else's big brother/father-like figure, especially poor River. So it's really awkward when I come across fics/fanvids/etc for Mal/Kaylee or Mal/River. The Tam incest fans also scare me a little. D:

in my canon, Neville is the bumbling Herbology professor that all the girls have an aaaaaaw-puppy crush on. They giggle at him behind their textbooks (and half the time he doesn't notice) and speculate about how such a nice man could still be single, and how nice it would be if he found someone. Nope. While I have nothing against Willow being a lesbian, I found her and Oz's relationship to be much more interesting, I saw bits of season six before watching season 1, so Angel never seemed to challenge Buffy the way Spike did, and I don't like Xander enough to really ship them so much.

And I sometimes ship Sam/Madeline a bit. They have really good scenes together.

Morgan/Anna: Oh, that's right! I guess I just found it funny when Morgan "broke up" with Anna temporarily when Chuck broke up with Lou, but putting aside the humor, that is pretty bad. I don't love them or anything, but I think they're kinda cute.

I hate choosing between Oz & Tara. I love them both too much. And I love both of them with Willow. :)
That makes sense about Angel. I mean, I totally think they're soulmates, but I find Spike/Buffy way more interesting (& hot). I like how it worked out with Angel leaving.

Oh, no, I don't mind slashers! Seriously, 3/4 of my flist are slashers to some degree or other, and my BFF IRL is a TOTAL slasher. She, in fact, loves Remus/Sirius tremendously.

Honestly, I just don't find the idea of two guys going at it sexy, so there isn't an appeal in slash for me.

But often times when people will talk about slash with my I feel a bit like Willow.

Check out http://thekingsown.org/, which is a Tamora Pierce-centric fanfic archive that our forum, Goldenlake, created. I'd recommend any fics by Lisafer first (especially in terms of K/W) ;)

And if you do come by the massive drabble pieces all based on Kel-related pairings, that's because Goldenlake just hosted a 2 month long "SMACKDOWN Fanfiction Competition" - where a list of characters (both male and female) were pitted against each other to win Kel's hand through fanfiction :P Suffice to say, Wyldon was a contender there, too, even if he didn't win in the end.

I'm not sure, really, what might have prompted it. But Kel's one of those characters who can be shipped with anyone, really, and there's a fetish in Kel/Wyldon, too (quasi-shades of KakaSaku, haha). I guess a combination of those factors, plus a greater appreciation of Wyldon just concocted it all. Then when the Big Gun authors in the Pierce fandom started writing it, it got interesting.
