I quit Chuck after season two, but I'm still downloading episodes for my mother. Well, this week I read a spoiler that make me want to watch the episode, so I'm in the process of doing that. However, there was a line that pissed me off so much that I had to post.

Sarah says: "If we do this and we get caught, we're going to be tried for treason and you are going to lose everything, and you're never going to get a chance to be a real spy."

Newsflash! Chuck is never going to be a real spy, because none of the spying that he does uses any skills he actually possesses. It's like a man driving a car and saying that he can go 30 mile an hour - yes, he can, but not because of anything he is or isn't. And frankly, that's a screwy metaphor because the intersect has always been driving Chuck, not the other way around.

Seriously, I almost threw up. Although that could have been the thirteen onion rings I ate an hour ago.

Also sickening is the fact that their is a Wesley/Andrew community on livejournal but not a Wesley/Fred on. Fandom, how so cruel?

Compared with that, j's new navigation bar is just very, very annoying. Why would I want to go to friends of my friends with one click when I can't got to my friends with one click?

You know, I didn't even notice this line, due to the awesome, old-school-style asskicking that is Casey and Sarah in this episode.

And you know what? Word. For me, Chuck was awesome. Back then. When he was this computer guy who tries hard to protect his country/family/friends with his own way, and does not rely on these Kung fu flashes all the time. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, and the latter's why Team Bartowski have three people.

Now it just feels so.. I don't know, boring? Which is why the episode I like so far in this season is.. Casey-centric. The plot overshadowed the action, so yeah.

Oh, when Sarah is under the car? So. Fucking. Hot.

I called this problem AS SOON as the credits on the finale episode of season two aired. I looked at my mom and I went, 'if Chuck has kung fu powers WHAT ON EARTH DO THEY NEED CASEY AND SARAH FOR?'

And as Casey and Sarah's slow withdrawal from Chuck shows, they clearly don't need Sarah and Casey anymore.

As much as I really, really, really don't want this to happen, it's happening. AAARRRGGHH CHUCK WHY. Brb, drowning myself in the Season 2. *is in denial*

Honestly, the one good thing I can say about this show right now is that they're being realistic about the costs of Chuck's choices. Let's just hope he keeps having his friends and family peeled away from him.

Season two was the best by far. And it wasn't like they didn't have interesting story lines being set up - I have no idea why they ditched them so Chuck could be super-spy.

And that is lovely, lovely Mulan icon.

....not until you suggested it. And thank you, that does work nicely.

Did he say anything interesting that you can recall?

...that makes sense. I mean, he's learned some stuff, but yeah, most of it is just the intersect. Huh, hadn't really thought of that.

There's no Wesley/Fred comm?? D: But I love them!! (Do Wesley & Andrew ever even meet? Maybe I haven't gotten there in Angel season 5 yet...)

p.s. I love your Syd icon :)

I don't think so, which is just adds another layer of bizarre to the whole situation.

I do too! As soon as I got into Alias, I knew I needed an icon of her in that red wig of awesome.
