Dear Livejournal/Six Apart,

Fuck you.

I have no energy to get it up for your drama, because I have a real life and if I'm stressing there, I'm not going to let my free time became unpleasant as well.

But you're still a bunch of stupid fucks who need to get a clue.

No Love,
[personal profile] redbrunja

p.s. You make me want to write Snape/Hermione now. While she's still at school!

(also, if anyone knows how to transfer posts for a mac that actually works, please let me know.)

Dear Weather,

It's August.

Please act like it. Either get some sunshine, or rain hard enough that I can actually justify not working.

Hoping You'll Shape Up,

Can we trade Augusts?
Thursday, August 9th, 2007 07:09 am (UTC)
Quite possibly. If I get tornados, hell yes.

Hee! Tornadoes aren't in August...Tornadoes are in March-April-Mayish...sometimes June. It's gotta do with all the volatile weather we get during the spring.

August here is just 100+ degrees.

See, if I didn't have to work, I think I could handle that kind of weather. (In the short term.)

Ah. You're having the same dopey weather I am. >_O

Re. LJ stupidity:

[livejournal.com profile] deathlike and I have been chatting about this too. We've decided to stay parked until LJ's tyrannical admins drop the anvil of doom on us. =-P

However, I was wondering where should all of us Saiyuki fans meet when we do finally get crushed? Do you have any ideas? A custom made community with group filter access to certain forums, blogs, galleries, etc would be awesome, but who would build it and where would it be hosted? [livejournal.com profile] cherise75 has plans for a massive Minekura fansite, but she's going to need a lot of help and support to pull it off.

Ack.

BTW, your annoyed Genjyo Sanzo icon is adorable. Gods, how I love him when he's crankier than a wet cat. ^_^

I work outside, and damnit, I'm not supposed to be getting cold in August!

I have no idea. I'm staying at lj for the moment, in part because I have no idea what it's like at IJ or GJ, and I haven't figured out how to switch journals.

Right now I'm waiting it out with my head up, so we'll see.

And yes, annoyed Sanzo is adorable.

Okies. I'm moving a lot of my stuff to my website now that I can use my ftp again. Greatest Journal seems to be the most recommended, but it's still going to be a pain to move everything - even with the lj-sec and lj-archive doohickies. >_O

I'm glad those work for you. I have a pdf of my journal, but I haven't been able to get the other tranfer programs to work for a mac.

I haven't tried the lj-sec thing. I don't have another blog to use it for. LOL. The archive thing worked all right.

Bah. I'm just deleting a lot of the unimportant junk and moving the important stuff manually to my website. I may or may not try to move the rest with the lj-sec to a new blog if I need to. I'm not sure it's worth the bother to keep all of the memes and whatnot.

That sounds like a bit of work. But since you're editing it down, I guess it wouldn't be too bad. I'd like to switch over to another blog just in case.

I have less than 150 entries anyway. I choose to move them manually because lj-sec apparently doesn't save the group-filter-locks so whatever it's used to move will become visible to the entire planet. Therefore, I want to move the sensitive stuff to a password protected home and delete it from LJ before using the lj-sec to move the general public stuff. :)

ah, that makes sense.
