I think I'm going to reprise a meme from ye ages past, because I'm bored and I like to make fandom-y lists and also, as the title would suggest, I like to ship.

Yeah. Irritating, but not really surprising. Fandom will always bend over backward to smoosh two white cocks together.

I've read a couple of those which worked for me, but they treated the pairing as the horror show and the gross violation it was without trying to romanticize it. A fic that tries to spin that into a relationship that has any kind of viable romantic future would gross me out though.

I wouldn't call it WTF pairing. As far as I'm concerned, they are (movie) canon, nevermind what JKR said. :p

Sadly, this is total truth.
I've read a couple of those which worked for me, but they treated the pairing as the horror show and the gross violation it was without trying to romanticize it. A fic that tries to spin that into a relationship that has any kind of viable romantic future would gross me out though.
Even the few I've read that treat it like a horror show are pretty upsetting to me, given that Loki NEVER seems to get any comeuppance.
