I am not ready to commit to a holiday meme, but there were some great tropes here that I wanted to keep on my LJ, in case I have more time suddenly/no one prompts things I want to write at the currently running or upcoming fanfic comment memes.

Okay! I am really in the mood for writing (and hopefully reading!) some holiday-themed ficlets. Pick a trope from this list and provide a fandom/pairing and I’ll write you a snippet from the story I would write or give you a summary of it or SOME COMBINATION THEREOF.

1. Getting snowed in (possibly with no power!) and CUDDLING FOR WARMTH


2. Accidental mistletoe feelings!


3. Sappy late night Christmas tree light watching cuddling and make-outs and also boning


4. Drunk work Christmas parties


5. Sharing weird or new family traditions with each other!


6. Christmas sweaters/blankets/getting bundled up to go out into the snow


7. Decorating together!


8. Cooking/baking together!


9. Realizing feelings when watching someone interact with family/children!


10. Lonely at the holidays and thinking you’re alone but then you’re not (found family)


11. Separated at each other’s family and then one person makes the drive/flight and surprises them


12. Fake!dating or bringing someone home for the holidays!

I really don't think so? (I mean, I actually didn't post this as a meme, yet, because I am kind of swamped.) The one place I know we overlap is Brooklyn Nine Nine.
