Name a character from one of my fandoms and I'll give you either (a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon, (b) a reason he/she sucks, (c) a reason she/he is awesomecakes, (d) three things that never happened to that character or (e) three people that character never fell in love with and why. You pick the character. I pick the letter.

I know Avatar, at least, so I'll bother you about the following characters:
Zuko
Ty Lee

Zuko: he's awesome because, even though WE know that he's going to do a face turn, he spends most of the first book being a competent villain, and doing everything possible to catch the Avatar.

1.) Is awesome because she is the one person who consistantly stands up to Azula - saying, no I don't want to go with you' even if she later changes her tune, and her pwnage at Boiling Rock.

1.) Jet. Honestly, the only thing that prevented her from falling for him was time - if he'd had more time to prove he had changed...
2.) Aang, if she had had the time to see him grow up, became a man and not just a boy or the avatar... maybe. As it was, by the time he was someone she could love romantically, she was already married to someone else.
3.) Batou. It was never spoken of, but it was quite common in the water tribes for well-established men to take young brides, and Hakoda would have like to have Batou bound to the family by marriage and not solely friendship; for many years it was just understood that when they returned from war, Batou would have a bride. Batou took one look the way the newly crowned Fire Lord watched the Avatar's Waterbender, and knew he didn't have the slightest chance.
He wasn't sure if he was relieve or disappointed.

2.) Since coming to the Shadow Realm, sometimes, late at night, the jealousy (that she's alone while everyone else has that special, special person who made the pain all worth it) claws up inside her and she feels like she's going to split apart with rage and wishes futilely that there was call for her other profession here.
3.) By the time she meets the love of her life, she's give up on him ; it took quite a bit of work to win her heart and not just a place in her bed, and he things it would be worth a hundred times more effort than it took to make her fall for him.
Also, great icon.

And thanks! Made it in an icon-making burst after watching POTC2 for the first time. ^__^

1.) She lost her virginity to 'this guy' who's name it takes her at least 30 seconds to remember. It was after Sasuke left, after Naruto left, and she was... she could just see herself in ten years as the pathetic ninja virgin still pining after Sasuke, and the thought of finding someone she loved as much as she'd loved him was exhausting, so she'd found some civilian who'd looked nice (not terribly handsome, but attractive enough), gotten half drunk with him, and gone home.
The sex sucked, but she popped her cherry before Ino, and that was worth a whole lot right there.
2.) The family situation's tense. Kakashi never quite new the details, but he does know that for a while there - the weeks after returning from Wave Country, before the chuunin exams arrived and he (he kicks himself to think this) had better things to thing about, she used to come over to his apartment a couple nights a week and practice cooking dinners. (She got pretty good too, although she was always best at breakfast.) At first, he thought she was trying to butter him up. It took him a humiliating amount of time to look underneath the underneath and realize she just didn't want to go home at night.
3.) She keeps her hair short for three reasons: it's a very shinobi cut, she likes it, and it proves that she's over Sasuke. (Now if her heart could just get the message.)

Also, the second Sakura one makes a scary amount of sense. As in it sounds like fic material…

1.) Sasuke. She was never in love with him - if fact, she doesn't really like him that much. But she knows Sakura does, and she can't stand the thought of those to together - besides, when he was younger, he was adorable.
2.) Shikamaru: there's a hell of a lot of reasons not to love him but the dealbreaker wasn't that he was smarter than her, didn't think she was fabulous, or was in love with that skank from Suna.
3.) Choiji: she could have been in love with him, later, once she realized the benefits of liking guys who were actually nice - but by that time, her pride wouldn't let her.

2.) Because she's strong enough to hold her own against the Section 13's best.
3.) Because Section 13's best gives her a fucking escort just because she's so awesome.
