Cracked Out Naruto Theories. Also, Bleach Hate.
You know, when people complained about Bleach being worse than Naruto, I didn't believe them.
I do know.
It's like everybody is fucking Sasuke.
Everyone is also super dumb.
This is the worst rescue I have ever seen in my life.
The only good part was when Rukia and Ichigo finally meet. That was awesome but the rest just made me want to stab someone.
That, and Ishida continuing to be The Girl.
Seriously, for the past fifty chapters it has been nothing butSasuke Ichigo getting stronger. It's boring and unbelievable and makes me hate him and hate his enemies for not killing him and hate everyone who isn't just sayin grab Rukia and make a break for it and hating Rukia for being weak after a month in prison and just in general it's hate hate hate.
Also, cracky random ideas for Naruto.
So, correct me if I'm wrong but Sai's older brother is light-haired and older - could he have been crazy-weird-name-guy who went to Orochimaru of his own will and was buddy-buddy with Juugo?
Also, there is only ONE situation in which I would accept Kakashi dying.
And that is if Sakura got his sharingan.
Wouldn't it be epic? Fucked up and tragic yet epic.
Also, I really miss the team of Cloud Nins who were going to deal with team motherfucking snakes.

Oh, god. Sakura getting Kakashi's sharingan. EPIC WIN.
And word on the Cloud nins. I liked them.
no subject
And Sakura with a Sharingan would be cool.

Sakura with Kakashi's eye might run into one bit of trouble, though, since I thought he was running close to going blind in that eye because of the sharingan. Unless Sakura comes up with a SUPER MEDIC NIN idea that allows the eye to use sharingan to some extent without causing blindness. (Or she could just go half-blind and be all: "Well, fuck the special sharingan then, I'll just take his other eye.") Then again, her body could reject the eye, which would also be fun.
(Oooh, or she and Karin could hook up and together make artificial, lab-grown sharingan eye replacements by using Sasuke as their manslave lab rat! And then get rich and famous! And Ino joins in as saleswoman!)
...Oh, drat. I'm going to be thinking about Sharingan!Sakura all day.

IAWTC.

I think Sakura would be able to do a lot of self-healing to keep the Sharingan intact and functioning, I would guess. I think she's have some similar troubles with running low of chakra because of it, but I bet you would overall manage to use the sharingan for longer periods than he does, with her chakra control.

You mean Kimimaro, or whatever his name was? Er, uh, I don't think so? They look pretty different. It would be a fun idea, though.
And that is if Sakura got his sharingan.
Yeeeeees this this this. Isn't there a fanart of her with all of "her boys'" memorabilia, and she's got his eye? It was pretty awesome.
Although if she does, we won't be able to bitch about what a cheap technique the sharingan is. Like, it's cool in theory, but with the way Kishimoto writes you know she'd suddenly become all god-mod like she never would have been powerful with out a super-special borrowed bloodline limit. And yet somehow still get shafted. He'd find a way to do it.

*nods* And one of the first fics I wrote for Naruto played with the idea of Sakura getting Kakashi's eye. Well, Obito's eye.

Oh, he totally would, I have no doubt. So we'd still be complaining. ^_^

I think I remember that fic. It was good.

Aaah, Naruto, a constant source of bitching. It's why we

Ugh. Ichigo. The worst possible combinations of both Naruto and Sasuke’s traits. I can count on one hand the amount of times in the manga I’ve found him even vaguely interesting. (For the record: when he was dealing with his mom’s killer, and when him and Rukia were doing their supernatural/spirit buddy cop routine.)
And yeah, Sakura with a Sharingan would be pretty badass.

fights aren’t as horribly formulaic and have some modicum of strategy involved
YES! There are SO many fights in Naruto where the "strongest" doesn't win because the other people are using stratagy or GANGING UP ON THEM TO WIN.

Oh Bleach. I am thisclose to dumping Bleach. When I keep hearing that Kubo is no better, possibly worse, than Kishimoto with the ladies, it is not encouraging! Plus the stuff you mentioned, which I haven't even got to that part.
no subject
I'm going to go with epic.
And I'd drop Bleach. Everyone I know says it only gets worse after the point I quit at.
no subject
I KNOW! It drives me crazy.
And I miss Rukia too. The whole 'too weak to even stand in the presence of what's his face pissed me off royally.' At the point, she should have saved herself.

My personal opinion of Ichigo has always seen him as one of the more traditionally noble characters out there. In any fandom. Yes, he always seeks to get stronger, like Sasuke, but the difference is that Sasuke always has himself in mind, where Ichigo has other people in mind. The basis of his character always reminded me more of Harry Dresden (Dresden Files) or Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)I just kind of wrote off the powerups and such as a genre tradition (Naruto has those too, I might add).
*cringes* Not trying to argue or anything, just supply a different perspective, that's all.

It's not a personality thing, it's bad shounan writing that they share. Also, that icon is hilarious.

I dunno...With me it's the personality of the characters that matters, especially in a genre where nearly everything else follows the same 'power-up' plot-lines. My opinion is that your character can be as hella strong as you want, but if they have decent characterization to back it up, then I can deal with it.
*snorts* I love that icon. I ganked it at "Captain Tuberculosis". I like yours too (Especially after that chapter before last. Grrr. Is it just me or is he using this attack as an opportunity to blatantly kill off all of the older/mentor characters?)! Oh, and I love the idea of Sakura getting his Sharingan...although it's unlikely that Kishimoto would take that route. It almost seems too cool and dramatic for him.

I agree in principle, but in practice, the characters that I connect to are ALWAYS the ones who aren't super powered, but have realistic weakenesss. Kakashi, Tsunade, Sakura, Rinslet, Quincy, Orihime.... all badass in various ways, all have ways that people could own them utterly. (All are, incidently, clever enough to take down stonger opponents USING THEIR BRAINS.)
It almost seems too cool and dramatic for him.
It kinda does.

It's not just you. And I could handle Tsunade biting it, especially if we got more Sakura screen time out of it, but the though of Kakashi dying makes me simulaniously homicidal and suicidal.
I had this icon made specially so I could have one to expressed my feelings towards some of Kishimoto's storytelling choices.

Light-haired guy as in Kimimaro? whoaaaa then wouldn't Sai have that same bone-stabby bloodline limit thing? (Is that even a bloodline limit? I have no idea.)
On the topic of Sharingan!Sakura: Yes. Yes, that would be very tragic indeed. ;_;

Kimimaro. And no, Sai's brother has a name--we were given it by databook 3. It's Shin. And Kimimaro's history is pretty much spoken for. I would have loved that, though. :[
...that is if Sakura got his sharingan
YES. THAT. THAT WOULD WIN SO HARD.
Also, I really miss the team of Cloud Nins who were going to deal with team motherfucking snakes.
*agrees* I GOT ALL EXCITED FOR THEM! REMEMBER THAT? YOU WERE THERE! WASN'T I EXCITED? I want my dorktastic Cloud team with more than one female NAO.
no subject
Yeah, I figured that there was definitive canon against it. I thought it would be a cool idea to play with, though.
I know! I was so thrilled when they showed up! It's tragic that we only got one chapter of them.

I want more Sai! He hasn't done anything besides be in filler since...wow, since his arc. Eesh. Hope new Danzou plot will bring him back into the spotlight! :D
