Fandom: Glee. I knew that the second season wasn't going to be as good as the first (even the end of the first) but I did not expect the show to be so awful that I would kick it to the curb before the midpoint of the season.

Character: Damon Salvatore.

Your Biggest Squee Moments of the Year:

1. Katniss and Peeta. Just... everything about them.
2. TANGLED.
3. The ending of Founder's Day (TVD). Everything from Katherine-as-Elena stepping up onto the porch to "Hello, John. Goodbye, John."
4. I get 195 userpics.
5. Community's Christmas episode.

Usually by the time I'm done with a fandom I'm happy to have it in my review mirror but I do miss BtVS.

I suspect it will be the year of British TV, with Doctor Who coming back and the long wait until Misfits and I keep hearing about this show called Primeval? Which I'm tentatively curious about. Plus, TSCC, who's lead character is played by a Brit.

I haven't written or read fic since the start of season 2, but I still get little moments of shipwatch glee for the episodes themselves. I feel like I've gone through my initial "SWALLOW ALL FIC AND FANDOM MEDIA NOW" phase of a new ship (like I was in summer), and I'm into a more mellow "Watch it on tv and enjoy it as it goes" phase. Jeff and Annie have such ridiculous chemistry, I don't know if I'll ever stop squeeing for them, even if the show maintains the no-OTPs-ever-ever policy it seems to have written into its handbook.

I basically jumped right to that latter phase with TVD, too.

Certainly not! I must admit, the fandom isn't producing the amazing fic that I guzzled down during the summer (not that I have room to talk) but I have really been enjoying the show in general and the little ship teases we've been getting, especially from the bottle episode on.

I basically jumped right to that latter phase with TVD, too.

It's nice, sometimes, to have show where the show itself satisfies you and you don't need to read/write fic for it.

Don't apologize! I love it when people comment on old posts. And yeah, it really struck me that Sally has, from an objective standpoint, a really worthy goal: she's trying to prove that this group of delinquents killed her fiance - it's ot her fault that there are extenuating circumstances that she's unaware of and wouldn't believe.
