I saw Whip It last night, which was as enjoyable as advertised and incredibly feminist in a delightful, unprepossessing way.
I also lost my mind at 3 a.m Wednesday morning and watched the pilot of Glee, which I avoided watching because a.) I saw the end of the first episode to try to rec the show to me, and while the scene was great it didn't leave me with any enticement to watch the first forty minutes b.) it seemed so incredibly faddy that I avoided it c.) I am sick of people talking about High School Musical.
However, there is this manic charm to the pilot that could quite easily get addictive (plus I like how on a meta-level this could be the delusions paranoid schizophrenic literature professor Diana Reid feels dirty about) and Emma is the most adorable thing ever.
